Foundation for Women

The Foundation for Women (FFW) is dedicated to nurturing, educating and supporting women of all ages, nationalities and spiritual backgrounds by creating connections and offering compassionate service. The Foundation serves impoverished women and those with disease by embracing microcredit and creating wellness connections.


The Division for the Advancement of Women - United Nations

Grounded in the vision of equality of the United Nations Charter, the Division for the Advancement of Women (DAW) advocates the improvement of the status of women of the world, and the achievement of their equality with men –as equal actors, partners, and beneficiaries of sustainable development, human rights, peace and security. Together with Governments, other entities of the United Nations system, and civil society, including non-governmental organizations, DAW actively works to advance the global agenda on women's rights issues and gender equality and ensure that women’s voices are heard in international policy arenas.


United Nations & The Millennium Development Goals

The eight Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) – which range from halving extreme poverty to halting the spread of HIV/AIDS and providing universal primary education, all by the target date of 2015 – form a blueprint agreed to by all the world’s countries and all the world’s leading development institutions. They have galvanized unprecedented efforts to meet the needs of the world’s poorest.


Nick 2015 - Helping Kids Understand The Millennium Development Goals

Nickelodeon teamed up with the UN Millennium Campaign to highlight all the things that need to be done in order for everyone in the world to live a better life.


The Episcopal Public Policy Network

The Office of Government Relations and the Episcopal Public Policy Network, of more than 15,000 Episcopalians across the country, brings the positions of the Episcopal Church to our nation's lawmakers. They represent the social policies of the church established by the General Convention and Executive Council, including issues of international peace and justice, human rights, immigration, welfare, poverty, hunger, health care, violence, civil rights, the environment, racism and issues involving women and children.

Their mission is to articulate the biblical call to social justice, inspiring hope and building a movement to transform individuals, communities, the church, and the world.


Episcopalians for Global Reconciliation

Episcopalians for Global Reconciliation (EGR) fosters spiritual renewal by working to redress global poverty.


RESULTS

RESULTS is a nonprofit grassroots advocacy organization, committed to creating the political will to end hunger and the worst aspects of poverty. They are a sponsor of the Microcredit Summit Campaign.
