The Beijing Circle focuses on issues that were initially identified at the Fourth World Conference on Women held in Beijing, China in 1995. The United Nations Millennium Development goals of 2000 mirror these issues.
The Beijing Circle provides a unique opportunity to individually and collectively raise awareness of the possibility of change for all women. An understanding of the global picture is essential, and is facilitated by education, meditation, sharing and developing a plan to address women's needs around the world. A significant outcome of this effort is to establish Circles of women globally. These groups will be populated by women who have the interest and determination to be engaged with critical women's issues. We hope you'll join us. The Beijing Circle seeks to empower women to pursue the implementation of positive outcomes by offering a variety of plans for action and advocacy. We invite you to explore our website. Please contact us if you have any questions or would like more information. |
